I have been researching genealogy and history for
over 40 years now, generally in Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina.
I have experience in researching the history of historic homes in Central
Kentucky, as well as genealogies of many families who settled early in
Kentucky. I have helped in the production of a number of books that
are sold to benefit organizations in our area, but also have genealogies of
other families as well. In 2015 I assisted with research on one of the
television productions of "Finding Your Roots".
Since I live near Harrodsburg, Stanford and Danville,
one of the most historical areas of Kentucky, much of my research flows over
from one family to another. I will be happy to help you with
your own family research or help do property searches. References are
available if desired.
Some of the names of settlers that I have extensively
researched are Crow, Caldwell, McGinnis, Brumfield, Sparrow, Whitehouse,
families in Perryville, Austrian settlers in central Kentucky, Rochester,
Reed and many others.
I am also available as a public speaker for
organizations on subject of Kentucky history and genealogy. Some of
the topics that I have available (some with Power Point presentations) are:
